ISO 19600 Certification | Compliance Management Systems

ISO 19600 Certification | Compliance Management Systems: ISO 19600:2014 Compliance Management Systems Guidelines that provides guidance to establish, develop, evaluate, maintain, improve an effective and responsive compliance management system within an organization.

ISO 19600 is a compliance standard introduced by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in April 2014. It brings  together separate standards of compliance management and risk management. The extent of the application of these guidelines depends on  the size, structure, nature and complexity of the organization. ISO 19600:2014 is based on the principles of good governance,  proportionality, transparency and sustainability.

Many existing compliance standards focus on one specific regulatory requirement or topic area. ISO 19600 aims to unify these, so  organizations can work within a single framework rather than several different ones focusing on different standards.

The guidelines on compliance management systems are applicable to all types of organizations. Like other related ISO standards, it  emphasizes the use of a Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle.
